Alpin Arda Bağcık and Yaşam Şaşmazer at the exhibition The Age of Fire

Curated by Can Akgümüş and supported by the Embassy of Germany, the exhibition The Age of Fire focusing on the current climate crisis brought together artists who produce with a deep ecological philosophy in contemporary art and adopted a style that conveys their reflexes to the Anthropocene through a variety of materials, their direct relationship with nature and the earth, and their clear vision for the future.

 

The exhibition, held at Çankaya Culture and Arts from November 4 to 27, 2023, highlights the negative impact of human actions on nature. It contrasts the concept of humanity with the concept of nature without humans.
