Sena Başöz at AWITA’s Resonant Spaces: Curating Echoes at Echo Soho
Sena Başöz was featured in Resonant Spaces: Curating Echoes, presented by the Association of Women in the Arts (AWITA) at the inaugural edition of Echo Soho, held from October 16 – 19, 2025. The presentation was part of AWITA’s curated booth exploring the myth of Echo and Narcissus through themes of reflection, memory, and reverberation.
At the centre of the display, Başöz presented the Ivy, a work that weaves fragments of family photographs with climbing ivy to evoke cycles of life, memory, and womanhood across generations. The project reflected on personal and collective histories, situating intimate narratives within broader questions of identity and belonging.
Echo Soho is a new art fair dedicated to female-led galleries and underrepresented voices, offering a platform for dialogue, resonance, and exchange within contemporary art.
