Cengiz Tekin at MeshRu: Whose Story Is This, After All?
MeshRu, the contemporary art space initiated by Paloma Hotels Group to bring together artists from diverse disciplines, opens its new season with its fourth exhibition, Whose Story Is This, After All?. On view from November 19, 2025 to February 8, 2026, the exhibition presents a collaborative project by Esra Gülmen and Cengiz Tekin.
The show emerges from a shared point of origin: two companions whose journeys both began in Diyarbakır. One migrated with their roots; the other chose to remain. The tension between leaving and staying resurfaces within their collective memory and takes form through the works on display. Rather than seeking definitive answers, the exhibition proposes that the questions themselves may hold the greater meaning.
