Central to Tallová’s practice is the notion of memory as a sediment that accumulates within objects and surfaces. She collects and archives photographs, antique books, fragments of furniture, and other relics, deliberately choosing materials marked by imperfection and patina. Through cutting, layering, and reconfiguring, the artist allows objects to “speak” in their own right, while simultaneously situating them within a larger philosophical and spatial context.

The series Unstable Memories are poetic assemblages formed out of Tallova’s collection of objects over the years. These are not mere historical remnants; instead, they become active participants in a process of transformation, gaining new plasticity and vitality under her hand. The series of collages brings together a diverse array of objects—found photographs, postcards, threads, and tulle—within which the female figure almost always emerges as the dominant presence. By orchestrating encounters between ephemeral objects and enduring forms, she creates spaces where viewers can experience a profound engagement with memory, time, and the subtle forces that shape human perception.
