Larry Muñoz seeks to uncover narratives that transcend time and place, shaped by the memories embedded in found material with his practice. At the core of his practice lies his fascination with nature; the unhindered similarities between nature and humans spurs his curiosity.


Continuing his search on retrieving; Lightness is always beautiful brings together objects the artist found during his visits across Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Miami, and Istanbul. Stemming from a shared point of departure, objects of Lightness is always beautiful unfold like a constellation, shining through the landfill of memory: a fragile cartography of meanings that stretches from past to present, and from the present toward an imagined future.
