Young Fresh Different, which Zilberman organizes annually to support young artists, is awaiting applications for its 12th edition this year!
 
The applications submitted through a nationwide open call will be evaluated and selected by a committee including arts writer Merve Akar Akgün, curator Merve Elveren, collector Zülal Gülçur, artist Hale Tenger, and Nazlı Yayla, representing the gallery. The artworks by the selected artists will be exhibited in Young Fresh Different 12 due to take place at Zilberman Istanbul between July 22 – August 18, 2023.

Eligibility

•The application is open to all visual artistic materials and styles.
•The applicants shall not be represented by a gallery, nor be older than 35 years as of January 1st, 2023.
•The artists whose works have been exhibited in the previous editions of the “Young Fresh Different” exhibitions are not eligible to apply.

How to Apply?

•The applicant shall submit and propose a single work to be exhibited.
•Application files must be submitted in 1 PDF file. The file should be less than 5 MB in total and be prepared as follows: 
•PDF 1: CV, contact information (telephone, e-mail address, address), and artist statement of a maximum of 300 words (Click here to download a sample pdf.)
•PDF 2: Maximum of 3 images of the submitted work (including a detail shot), caption info (name, technique, year, dimension), and description of the work with the maximum of 300 words (Click here to download a sample pdf.)
•PDF 3: A portfolio including between 5 and 10 works along with the captions (Click here to download a sample pdf.) •Submitted images should be in high quality. The proposed work should be documented in detailed images.
•Video works should be submitted with a link (to be accessed with a password, via Youtube, Vimeo, etc.) mentioned in the caption of the work in the related PDF.
•Application should be e-mailed to gyf@zilbermangallery.com.
•The deadline for submissions is April 30th Sunday 23:00. Applications after this date will not be considered.
