Talk & Discussion - Summer was a Beautiful Day

On occasion of the solo exhibition SUMMER WAS A BEAUFUL DAY, Christoph Tannert, artistic director of Künstlerhaus Bethanien, and Çelenk Bafra, curator and former director of exhibitions & programs at Istanbul Modern, will hold a conversation in the presence of the artist Antonio Cosentino.

Christoph Tannert, born 1955 in Leipzig, has lived in Berlin since 1976, where he is the artistic director of Künstlerhaus Bethanien. Tannert studied archaeology and art history at the Humboldt University of Berlin. Until 1990 he worked as an art critic, journalist and exhibition organizer in Berlin and Eastern Europe. Tannert co-founded the Brandenburgischer Kunstverein Potsdam in 1994 and until 2003 was vice-chairman of its management board. In the same year he was appointed to the management board of the Berlin Photography Festival, and in 2006, 2008 and 2010 he served as a reviewer for FotoFest Houston/Texas.
