Isaac Chong Wai at Timeless Interactions at HART Haus, Hong Kong (24/03/2025)
Isaac Chong Wai took part in Timeless Interactions, on view at HART Haus in Hong Kong from March 24 to April 6, 2025, as part of Supper Club 2025’s offsite programme. The exhibition, featuring selected works from the Akeroyd Collection, centres on the artist’s body in participatory actions, exploring identity, memory, and the ephemeral nature of existence.
Chong Wai’s Neue Wache (2015), investigates how the body’s presence navigates and reshapes its environment, inviting viewers to reflect on the connection between self, space, and history. The show transforms the ground floor of HART Haus into a quiet black box cinema, offering an immersive experience where time feels suspended.
