Sena Başöz at Certain Fallacies' one-night exhibition Silver Salon (16/07/2025)
On July 16, 2025, Certain Fallacies held its one-night exhibition Silver Salon in Wapping, London, overlooking the Thames. Founded in Los Angeles, Certain Fallacies is a peripatetic curatorial project staging exhibitions in domestic and ephemeral spaces, and Silver Salon marked its first London edition. The exhibition featured works by Sena Başöz, Toni Davey, Marianthi Hatzikidi, James Jessiman, Vera Ronnen, Carmelle Safdie, and Yelena Zhelezov. With a reflection on every wall, visitors encountered a glowing interior that contrasted with the dim exterior and saw only their own reflections. Materials such as river pockets, rising water, glass shards, enameled metal, combs, strings, bits of wood, plexiglass, and bone fragments were presented in flowing arrangements.
