Omar Barquet at The Flower and the Flame exhibition (06/09/2025)
Omar Barquet and Fabiola Torres-Alzaga's duo exhibition The Flower and the Flame, is on view at Sala Diaz from September 6 to November 14, 2025. Curated by Leslie Moody Castro, the exhibition transforms the space into a stage for the story of a mythical being holding a flower in one hand and a flame in the other. Drawing from cinema, Greek mythology, the poetry of Sappho, and themes of tragedy and grief in relationships, the exhibition offers a poetic and layered narrative.
