Yane Calovski is featured in The Atlas: An Exhibition by the Agents, on view at Kunsthalle Exnergasse, Vienna, from June 17 to July 19, 2025. Curated by Başak Şenova, the exhibition brings together six artists—Bronwyn Lace, Hristina Ivanoska, Ilan Volkov, Isa Rosenberger, Timo Tuhkanen, and Yane Calovski—who contribute to the project with artistic and conceptual insights, responding to collected research data through performative and creative mechanisms across curatorial and conductorial practices.

Calovski presents Mise en Archive (Unfolding) (2025), a continuation of his long-term engagement with archives, memory, and spatial rehearsal. It consists of metal rods, collected from a scrapyard in Skopje, bent into biomorphic lines and inserted into the gallery walls like bookmarks in a book of gestures. Emerging from the wall, they hold together elements that appear to drift away, evoking both the fragility of recollection and the resilience of embodied memory. Their sombre tonality suggests collapse and perseverance, while their exposed presence behaves like a rehearsal in space—an orchestration of residual traces and improvised thought, continually unfolding.
