Sena Başöz, Fatoş İrwen, and Yaşam Şaşmazer at the Folia exhibition at Abdülmecid Efendi Mansion (21/09/2025)
Curated by Selen Ansen and Eda Berkmen, the exhibition Folia will be on view between September 21, 2025 and March 1, 2026 at Abdülmecid Efendi Mansion in Bağlarbaşı, under the auspices of Koç Holding. Inspired by Koç Holding Chairman Ömer M. Koç’s idea of a “magical garden,” the exhibition brings together works on loan from institutions, artists, and collectors in Turkey and abroad, alongside newly produced works supported by Koç Holding. Interpreting natural processes through diverse materials and media, the exhibition features works by artists including Sena Başöz, Fatoş İrwen, and Yaşam Şaşmazer. Folia opens the gates of an imaginary garden, inviting viewers to reflect on the interconnections between plants, animals, and humans.
