Sena Başöz Leads Material: Wind Workshop (10/02/2026)
From February 10–13, 2026, artist Sena Başöz facilitated Material: Wind, a production workshop for contemporary artists exploring ecological processes and transformation. The workshop approached wind as an active material—light, intangible, yet powerful—and examined how turbulent forces can enter exhibition spaces, activate dormant elements, and affect the body.
Across four online sessions, participants engaged with Başöz’s artistic research, experimented with creative exercises, and discussed wind as a catalyst for regeneration, movement, and change. The program highlighted the role of instability in artistic production and encouraged artists to reconsider archives, materials, and systems not as fixed entities, but as fields capable of transformation.
