Selçuk Artut delivers talk on AI and creativity (21/05/2026)
On 21 May 2026, Selçuk Artut delivered the talk "AI and Creativity: Human and Technological Collaboration in the Corridors of Artistic Practice" at the Department of Painting, Faculty of Fine Arts, Marmara University.
The lecture examined the evolving relationship between artificial intelligence and human creativity through the lens of contemporary artistic practice. Addressing the role of algorithms in artistic production, the interaction between human intuition and machine learning, ethical and intellectual property issues, and the changing position of the artist, Artut offered a comprehensive perspective on AI-assisted art making through real-world examples and live demonstrations.
