Memed Erdener participates in Forgive Me, Please group exhibition (24/06/2026)
Memed Erdener is participating in Forgive Me, Please, on view at İstanbul Sanat Müzesi from 24 June to 23 August 2026. Organised by İBB Miras and İBB Kültür, with artist Ali Gün Yıldırım serving as the project's lead, the exhibition brings together works by 64 artists to raise public awareness about organ donation.
Inspired by the experiences of nearly 33,000 people currently awaiting organ transplants in Türkiye, Forgive Me, Please highlights themes of life, hope, solidarity, and second chances through the transformative power of contemporary art. Bringing together works across a range of media, the exhibition includes Erdener's contribution as part of a collective artistic call encouraging reflection on the social and human significance of organ donation.
