Heba Y. Amin is participating in After Memory, an international group exhibition on view at Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien, Berlin, from July 11 to October 11, 2026. Curated by Lisa Deml, Nathalia Lavigne, and Víctor Fancelli Capdevila, the exhibition examines how digital technologies, disinformation, and data-driven systems are reshaping collective memory while asking how we might remember and forget in the future.
Bringing together works by artists including Noor Abuarafeh, Maria Thereza Alves, Aram Bartholl, Taysir Batniji, Zach Blas, Rabih Mroué, and Eduardo Kac, After Memory explores memory as a contested political, technological, and cultural terrain. Within this context, Heba Y. Amin's research-driven practice contributes to the exhibition through its critical engagement with historiography, power structures, and postcolonial narratives.
