Lucia Tallová: Moving Clouds at PalaisPopulaire (09/09/2026)
Deutsche Bank honors Lucia Tallová as “Artist of the Year” 2026 and from September 10th the PalaisPopulaire has a solo exhibition of her work of arts on display.
Lucia Tallová: Moving Clouds opens at PalaisPopulaire on September 9, 2026, as part of Berlin Art Week and will be on view until the end of 2026. The exhibition presents works situated at the intersection of painting, collage, and installation by Lucia Tallová, who has been named Deutsche Bank’s “Artist of the Year” 2026.
The “Artist of the Year” award recognizes the relevance of Tallová’s poetic exploration of the fragility of memory in an accelerated, digital present. For her collages, the artist uses photographs from old books and magazines, partly combined with found objects such as furniture fragments and natural materials. At the intersection of painting, collage, and installation, she develops an impressive visual language. In doing so, she addresses themes such as ecology, suppressed female histories, modernity, loss, and utopia.
On September 10 at 5 pm, Lucia Tallová will join Britta Färber, Global Head of Art and Culture at Deutsche Bank and curator of the exhibition, for an artist talk. The conversation will explore Tallová’s artistic practice, the works in the exhibition, and the themes addressed in her work.
