Heba Y. Amin participates in ‘Tomorrows: Speculative Fictions for Mediterranean Futures’ at Le Lieu Unique, Nantes (19/04/2019)
Heba Y. Amin participates in the group exhibition titled ‘Tomorrows: Speculative Fictions for Mediterranean Futures’ taking place at Le Lieu Unique from 27 March to 2 June 2019. Curated by Daphne Dragonas and Panos Dragonas and developed in Athens, the exhibition examines the complexity of the future through the work of artists, architects and designers with a range of media, video installations, fictional stories, scale models, architectural blueprints, 3D prototypes, all telling us stories about tomorrow. Most of these scenarios concentrate on problems affecting the Mediterranean region – like the economic crisis, the effects of climate change and the mass displacements of populations. The exhibition includes works by James Bridle, Pınar Yoldaş, Lina Theodorou and other international contributors.
