Heba Y. Amin at B7L9 Lazaar Foundation, Tunisia (26/06/2019)
With her video work titled Operation Sunken Sea: Relocating the Mediterranean, Inaugural Speech, 2018, Heba Y. Amin takes part in the group exhibition, ‘Climbing through the Tide’ curated by Başak Şenova, taking place at B7L9 Lazaar Foundation from March 16th to June 9th. By taking the condition-based and geographical inputs into account, the exhibition operates as the prompter of new interrogations and the instigator of multiple perceptions leading to a more layered reading of our current situation and to different ways to cope with it. The exhibition also includes works by Adel Abidin, Ali Cabbar, Benji Boyadgian, Etel Adnan, Ghada Amer, Gülsün Karamustafa, Hera Büyüktaşcıyan, Nilbar Güreş, Ramesch Daha and Youssef Nabil.
