Burçak Bingöl and Yaşam Şaşmazer for Mor Çatı, Istanbul (20/02/2021)
For the 30th anniversary of the Mor Çatı Women’s Shelter Foundation, artists came together and established a solidarity showing that they stood against the systematic violence and discrimination women are exposed to every day. The revenue obtained from the sales of the works that lasted until January 8, 2021 was used to benefit Mor Çatı’s struggle for women to establish a life without violence. Burçak Bingöl and Yaşam Şaşmazer were among the thirty women who donated their works to the organization, which took place with the initiative of Serra Tansel.
