Sim Chi Yin is amongst the contributing artists for the Thailand Biennale, Korat 2021 titled "Butterflies Frolicking on the Mud: Engendering Sensible Capital''. Showcasing site-specific works only, the biennale has a social objective of reclaiming the space as a cultural capital. Sim Chi Yin’s Shifting Sand series, is one of the 54 artists from 26 countries and regions to participate in the Thailand Biennale, Korat 2021, from December 18, 2021, to March 31, 2022.
