Itamar Gov and Fatoş İrwen at the exhibition All water falls into language (01/11/2022)

The group exhibition All water falls into language, curated by Naz Kocadere, explores the various transmissions of language, communication and expression forms through water, fluidity, and auditory, mainly through the works of artists who live and produce in the Netherlands and Turkey. The exhibition was inspired by Murathan Mungan's novel Hamamname, in which he reflects on the history of Istanbul's baths through the narration of a centuries-old water genie. It also includes works by Itamar Gov and Fatoş İrwen. The dialogue between the collected works reflects the search for the language stored in water's memory. From October 6 to November 19, 2022, the exhibition will be on display at Kıraathane Literature House.
