Artİstanbul Feshane, restored by İBB, reopened under the theme Beginning from the Middle.
In Feshane, Zilberman's selection titled Such Things Happen in Novels includes works by Memed Erdener, Fatoş İrwen, Neriman Polat, and Erinç Seymen and Uğur Engin Deniz. Starting with the question 'How are utopias written?', the selection focuses on the idea that, in order to avoid the tantalizing danger of false utopias, we should move away from depictions of utopia that focus solely on perfect harmony -which are disconnected from the realities of life- or that are constructed by the desires imposed by capitalism -which fall into the trap of consumption-rant pleasure. The exhibition can be seen at booth A5 until August 30th.
