Zeynep Kayan at Rijksakademie’s open studio days (14/07/2023)
The Rijksakademie’s studios were open for the annual Open Studio days from June 2 to 4 and 8 to 11. For two weeks, fifty national and international artists shared their artistic practices and displayed the results of experimentation, research, and new work creation. Visitors explored the various practices and ideas developed by the artists at the resident artist’s studios that push the boundaries of what contemporary art can be and do.
Zeynep Kayan performed I started on the second week, and I’m still pulling the chair, on June 3, 9, and 10.
