Lucia Tallová at Prepni na Revúcu (15/07/2023)
The Kokón group exhibition, created in collaboration with the Čierne diery association, featured the works of eight artists in the carpet factory in Revúca. Thematic threads were developed from the form, matter, and other qualities of the cocoon, the origin and existence of which are linked with the protection of what is inside and with a gradual transformation sensitively reacting to its surroundings. The exhibition was an ahistorical look at how our perception of the human position changes within different (eco)systems, as well as a poetic attempt to create atmosphere and the possibility of retreating into a living cocoon-like structure built on the ruins of exhausted narratives about man's dominance over nature. Curated by Miroslava Urbanová and exhibition architecture Peter Liška, the exhibition took place between May 16, June 18, 2023.
