Yane Calovski at MG+Museum (16/07/2023)


Yane Calovski’s installation Obsessive Setting (prototype) is part of the exhibition Don't Dream Dreams - A Selection from the Art Collection Telekom and Two Commissioned Works. From dealing with the history of art, through cosmologies, educational situations, urban planning, to collections of drawings, so-called psychological theaters and anthropomorphic sculptures - more than 40 works and projects by 25 artists from Eastern and Southeastern Europe is on display in the five halls of MG+, between May 23 and July 30, 2023. 

Obsessive Setting (prototype) is an installation piece by Yane Calovski from 2010. It is part of a large group of works about the master plan for the reconstruction of Skopje after the devastating earthquake in 1963. The small unit is a study of a living and working unit in a very small space.
