Zilberman is pleased to announce its new gallery space in Miami! (07/10/2023)

Zilberman was founded in 2008, by the businessman, collector, and philanthropist Moiz Zilberman, with three objectives in mind: to internationally promote contemporary artists from Turkey; to introduce international artists to the local art scene; and to support young artists. Celebrating its 15th year, Zilberman represents 29 international artists, from Turkey to Mexico, Hong Kong to Colombia to Germany, creating an international hub for contemporary art with its 5 spaces in Istanbul and Berlin. Zilberman attaches great significance to its yearly program, staging 12-15 solo and group exhibitions, by retaining close ties with the artists and their studios and with curators, scholars, collectors, and the international art scene.

The gallery has a strong presence at international art fairs, participating in 10-12 fairs each year such as Art Basel Hong Kong, Untitled Art Miami Beach, Zona Maco, Art Cologne, and Art Dubai, forging close relationships with collectors, curators, and art professionals, and creating opportunities for the represented artists. With the firm belief that a commercial gallery should also assume its social responsibility of education and audience development, Zilberman organizes artist talks, lecture performances, book launches, as well as round table discussions. Also, through its artist-in-residence program, Zilberman provides the time and space for artists to live and work in Berlin and Istanbul. Concluding each year's exhibition season in Istanbul, Zilberman curates Young Fresh Different, a group show through a nationwide open call with an independent selection committee, opening up an opportunity for young artists to step into the art scene with the guidance and support of Zilberman. We are excited to extend the scope of YFD to Berlin and Miami starting this season.

Introduced to the Miami art scene in 2017 through Untitled Art Miami Beach, Zilberman returned to Miami every year to reconnect with the collectors, artists, and institutions, always feeling welcome, and motivated to build a stronger connection to Miami. While strengthening the dialogue of our represented Latin American artists, Omar Barquet, Sandra del Pilar, Pedro Gómez-Egaña and Larry Muñoz to the Miami art scene, Zilberman seizes the opportunity each year to introduce artists from Europe and Asia to the art professionals and collectors in and around Miami.

Observing and experiencing the nationwide and global rise and development of the Miami art scene firsthand, Zilberman is ready to expand its global domain to the Americas by taking roots in Miami. With its new gallery space in Miami, Zilberman aims to create a hub for European and Asian artists in the Americas and to forge a bridge for Latin American and American artists to be exhibited in Europe, contributing to the vibrant and inclusive art scene in Miami.
