Heba Y. Amin at Venice Architecture Biennale 2023 (22/10/2023)
Between October 22 and 29, professors Heba Y. Amin and Füsun Türetken lead the workshop Utopia as Practice with student participation at the German Pavilion’s Open for Maintenance at the 2023 Architecture Biennial The Laboratory of the Future. Students from the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design, the University of the Arts Bremen and the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart will address the asymmetrical knowledge systems built by ideological frameworks such as imperialism, colonialism, and capitalism. The workshop aims to reconfigure our creative practices for more innovative future imaginaries.
