Guido Casaretto, Naz Kocadere and Burcu Yağcıoğlu met at the artist talk titled Waters of Istanbul (11/11/2023)
The talk, which took place on November 11, 2023, moderated by Naz Kocadere in parallel to the exhibition Under Two Suns at Odunpazarı Modern Museum, examined Burcu Yağcıoğlu and Guido Casaretto's works in the exhibition and the thematic connections between them, while addressing issues such as interspecies relations and the climate crisis. The talk explored the waters of Istanbul and the anthropocene scenes that occur at the water's edge through the artists' works in the exhibition, and touched upon issues such as the 6th great extinction as well as the dynamics that necessitate confrontation.
