Alpin Arda Bağcık and Yaşam Şaşmazer at the exhibition The Age of Fire (04/11/2023)
Curated by Can Akgümüş and supported by the Embassy of Germany, the exhibition The Age of Fire focusing on the current climate crisis brought together artists who produce with a deep ecological philosophy in contemporary art and adopted a style that conveys their reflexes to the Anthropocene through a variety of materials, their direct relationship with nature and the earth, and their clear vision for the future. The exhibition, held at Çankaya Culture and Arts from November 4 to 27, 2023, highlights the negative impact of human actions on nature. It contrasts the concept of humanity with the concept of nature without humans.
