Omar Barquet at Cachorros de Tigre: A Possible Universe of Drawing in Mexico (28/03/2025)


Omar Barquet is participating in the exhibition Cachorros de Tigre: A Possible Universe of Drawing in Mexico, on view at the National Center for the Arts (CENART) in Mexico City from March 28 to May 28, 2025. Organized in collaboration with the Ponce Kurczyn Collection, the exhibition features over 150 works by 101 artists, highlighting the evolution and significance of drawing in Mexican art. ​


Curated by Héctor Vargas-Salazar, the exhibition is structured into three sections—Modern, Transitional, and Contemporary—offering a comprehensive exploration of drawing as an autonomous and vital discipline within the visual arts.
