Selçuk Artut at Contemporary Art Ruhr (C.A.R.) Photo/Media Art Fair (21/03/2025)
Selçuk Artut will present his Manifold series and Presence in its Absence at the Contemporary Art Ruhr (C.A.R.) Photo/Media Art Fair, which will take place from March 21 to 23, 2025.
Presence in its Absence is based on Artut's two-channel video work Presence in its Absence, which was created with creative coding and fragmented from patterns found at Karatay Madrasa. This works, which explores the limitless possibilities that emerge from Presence in its absence, challenges conventional visual perception and reveals the ambiguities embedded in the perceived world.
C.A.R. Photo/Media Art Fair will be held at Zollverein in Essen, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fair is a key event for both the international and regional art scenes, focusing on innovative photography and media art.
