Isaac Chong Wai and Eşref Yıldırım take part in MAI Residency at Museum Schloss Moyland (01/03/2025)
Isaac Chong Wai and Eşref Yıldırım are currently participating in the Abramović Institute (MAI) in Dialogue with Joseph Beuys residency at Museum Schloss Moyland. Taking place from March 1 to 31, 2025, at Artoll in Bedburg-Hau, the residency brings together 12 artists to engage with Beuys’ legacy.
Following Beuys’ footsepts in Kleve, Chong and Yıldırım will have access to the Joseph Beuys Archive and library, as well as the opportunity to closely study selected works from the museum’s collection. The residency will culminate in a series of performances at the museum’s exhibition hall and the castle’s ground floor, opening on July 27, 2025. Throughout August, artists will present live performances, followed by a video documentation display in September and a public program of talks, workshops, and performances in October.
