Simon Wachsmuth at Aliens Anywhere at Meinblau, Berlin (20/06/2025)
Simon Wachsmuth will take part in Aliens Anywhere, on view at Meinblau in Berlin from June 20 to July 13, 2025, in the second part of the exhibition curated by Bernhard Draz. The exhibition brings together works that address the social and political layers of the past and their echoes in the present.
Simon Wachsmuth’s I work, I rob day and night (2021/22) intertwines the existential anxieties of Kleist and Lasker-Schüler within a sleep and text performance. His frottages of epitaphs from the Thirty Years’ War culminate in the Meinblau project space as a poetically concrete “forest of concepts” formed from black metal steles (Steles, 2025).
