Memed Erdener at İçimizdekiler, Elimizdekiler exhibition (01/06/2025)

The exhibition İçimizdekiler, Elimizdekiler, featuring 10 artists from different generations and perspectives, was on view at KASA Gallery until June 20, 2025. Organized within Istanbul Bilgi University’s Art and Culture Management Program and coordinated by Derya Yücel, this project is part of the ART312 Exhibition Project and Application course, focusing on the theme of “human.”

The show explores human relationships with life, memory, history, and society through the lenses of loss, melancholy, action, and resistance. Inspired by Jean-Paul Sartre’s concept of ‘bad faith,’ the works critically address processes of losing freedom and current mechanisms of surveillance and suppression. At the same time, the exhibition investigates new possibilities for collective solidarity and resistance. Memed Erdener participates with his work Monoton ve Homojen Oluşumları Bertaraf Etme Komitesi (Committee for the Elimination of Monotonous and Homogeneous Formations).
