Isaac Chong Wai at PERFORM! 2025, Neue Nationalgalerie (10/09/2025)
During Berlin Art Week from September 10 to 14, 2025, the Neue Nationalgalerie hosted the fourth edition of PERFORM! 2025, featuring performances by Joan Jonas, Isaac Chong Wai, and vAL. Additionally, Yoko Ono’s participatory performance Bells for Peace will take place on September 14 as part of the “Tag im Grünen” event.
On September 14, Chong presented his work The Horizon We Can Never Touch (2014/2024). Chong’s performance offers an interactive, spatial experience that questions perceptions of social norms and standards. vAL’s specially commissioned piece Bellied explores new possibilities emerging from fractured reflections.
