Sim Chi Yin at Stay Connected: Supplying the Globe, Tai Kwun Contemporary (28/02/2026)
On view from February 28 to May 31, 2026, at Tai Kwun Contemporary / JC Contemporary, Stay Connected: Supplying the Globe examines China’s central role in global production, logistics, and the material infrastructures shaping contemporary life. Curated by Pi Li and Ying Kwok, the exhibition foregrounds the human and material conditions underlying processes of globalisation.
Structured across four thematic sections, the exhibition explores ecological impact, labour, networks of exchange, and the shifting global alignments driven by the circulation of people, materials, and ideas. Within this framework, Sim Chi Yin’s work contributes to a broader reflection on the human dimensions of globalisation, foregrounding personal histories and the often-overlooked narratives embedded within large-scale economic systems.
