Heba Y. Amin at International Projects (13/11/2016)


Amin has participated in the residency program at the Künstlerhaus Bethanien between June 15-September 1, supported by Outset Germany. The artist has participated in the Open Studios on July 15 and the Bethanien Residency exhibition on July 19 through her residency.

The artist has won a grant within the framework of the “Interkultur Ruhr” project to conduct one of her projects. The research project focusing on immigration and social problems in the Ruhr region will last a year.

Amin’s Speak2Tweet project has been included in the Beton exhibition realized in Kunsthalle Wien. The exhibition, June 25-October 16, was curated by Vanessa Joan Müller and Nicolaus Schafhausen.

The artist’s works were also included in the group exhibition Still Lost at the Kunstraum Schaufenster in Berlin. The exhibition, September 10-25, was curated by Jan Kage.
