Antonio Cosentino at Galerie Paris-Beijing and Hafriyat Talks (23/02/2018)
With his work from the series titled “Star of Syria,” Antonio Cosentino took part in the group show “Home is Where the (He)Art is” at Galerie Paris-Beijing, curated by Yann Perreau and will be open to visit between 1 February-24 March 2018. Halil Altındere, Volkan Aslan, Mehtap Baydu, Gözde İlkin and Yaşam Şaşmazer take part in the exhibition as well. Living or partly living in Turkey, the artists join the exhibition with their new works with a focus on their relationship to the concept of “home.”

Antonio Cosentino was a guest speaker to the series of meetings, "There's another possibility: the open venue and the talk of artist collectives" at Kasa Gallery. The artist collective, Hafriyat, is put at the center of talks that take place in six sessions between 19 January-24 February 2018. Emre Zeytinoğlu, Vahit Tuna, Beral Madra and Ezgi Bakçay are among the guest speakers who cast a closer look on the structures, distinct methods and strategies, resolution or transformation processes and the problematics and possibilities of existence of the artist collectives.
