Alpin Arda Bağcık at Austro-Turk Tütün Deposu, Izmir (11/12/2018)
Alpin Arda Bağcık participated in the group exhibition ‘DESTRUCTION’ organized by GLOBOLOKAL taking place at Austro-Turk Tütün Deposu between 15 and 30 September 2018. 'DESTRUCTION' attemped to foster an alternative discourse that draws attention to the loss of the city’s memory, history, cultural identity and monumental structures as an inevitable consequence of urban transformation and its destructive processes. The exhibition, curated by Ali Kemal Ertem and Cenkhan Aksoy with the participation of 12 artists from Izmir, intended to address a dialogue between the artworks and the transformation process of the city.
