Erinç Seymen as part of 'Revolution Generations' at Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, Doha (11/12/2018)
Erinç Seymen is participating in the group show 'Revolution Generations' at Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art in Doha, Qatar, running between 17 October 2018 and 16 February 2019 with his sculpture Untitled, 2010. Staged in three parts and curated by Mathaf's director Abdellah Karroum, 'Revolution Generations' investigates important moments of change in the history of modern and contemporary art; specifically the 1950s–1960s Post-Independence era, followed by the period between 1970s–1990s, and the Pre-revolutions of the 2000s when underground artistic movements developed in the region in response to the absence of freedom of expression. Other artists whose works are presented include Fahrelnissa Zeid, Ahmed Cherkaoui, Shirin Neshat, Marwan Sahmarani and many other names.
