Elmas Deniz’s solo exhibition ‘Integration with Nature’ at Şekerbank Açıkekran New Media Art Gallery, Istanbul (19/04/2019)
Elmas Deniz's solo show on view at Şekerbank Açıkekran New Media Art Gallery running from 26 March to 21 June 2019, ‘Integration with Nature’ curated by Ali Akay, contains her three video works focused on the nature-human relationship. With the images full of “sublime” the exhibition which involves Deniz’s video works titled The Tree I Want to Buy, 2014, Human-less, 2015 and Made to be Seen, 2017, points at the ways of looking to nature. It approaches nature as one of the main concerns and reminds us that in today’s world we are moving towards a new paradigm in our relationship with nature.
