Heba Y. Amin at Literaturhaus Berlin (08/10/2019)
On the occasion of Heba Y. Amin’s upcoming solo exhibition 'Fruit from Saturn' taking its name from Yvan Goll's book of poems at the Center for Persecuted Arts in between from November 15, 2019 - to February 2, 2020, the museum presents a discussion about art and writing as a political weapon against totalitarian thinking at the Literaturhaus Berlin. Jürgen Kaumkötter (Director of the Center for Persecuted Arts, Solingen) and Jürgen Serke (Author und Journalist) will accompany Amin during the talk. The Solingen collection of Yvan Goll’s work is based on the research of Jürgen Serke who donated Goll's original unpublished manuscript to the museum. The panel at Literaturhaus includes Heba Y. Amin's live-reading of Goll's poem 'Atom Elegy'.
