Sandra Del Pilar and Sim Chi Yin are now represented by Zilberman Gallery (20/04/2020)

Zilberman Gallery is proud to announce the representation of Sandra Del Pilar and Sim Chi Yin.

In her paintings, objects and installations, Sandra del Pilar (b. 1973, Mexico-City) investigates the phenomenon of transparency, which the artist understands as a place where the private and the political meet. Using transparent synthetic fibers, she materializes dream-like scenarios from the collective and personal memory, overrides our idea of (image-) space and (linear) time, interweaves inside and outside, the world of images and the viewer's body and thus enables another look at the political and social events and conditions of our time.

Sim Chi Yin (b. 1978, Singapore) works are research-based, including photography, moving image, archival interventions and text-based performance, focusing on memory, history, conflict, and some of the most pressing issues of our time.
