Elmas Deniz at IKSV online (20/04/2020)
Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV) presents two artists' films from the previous Istanbul Biennial at weekly intervals available to view online.
Elmas Deniz’s video titled ‘Human-less’ was shown between 10 and 17 April 2020. ‘Human-less’ presents camera recordings taken by a drone. In the video work we see the pristine mountains of the Caucasus from a bird's eye view. At first we admire the beautiful landscapes, but little by little ‘Human-less’ evokes the question of humans‘ ambivalent relationship to nature.
