Elmas Deniz at Pera Museum, Istanbul (20/02/2021)
Elmas Deniz participates in the group exhibiton Crystal Clear with her works A Tale of The Earth (2020), The Isle of the Mollusks (2020) and Undressed Personal Computer (2020). The show is curated by Elena Sorokina and taking place at Pera Museum from December 22, 2020 until March 14, 2021: “Taking crystals and their vibrant matter as a point of departure, the exhibition Crystal Clear goes beyond their emblematic use. Rather it aims to develop a contained ecosystem with diverse entanglements of the production, display, and recycling of the artistic, curatorial, and institutional work, material and immaterial.“ The exhibition is accompanied by a catalog of articles by Elena Sorokina, Bruno Latour, Spyros Papapetros and Katy’taya Catitu Tayassu.
