“Road to Tate Modern” by Erkan Özgen and Şener Özmen in Belgium (10/07/2022)


With wider accessibility of both video hardware and editing software, the 1990s were a key period for the development and proliferation of film and video art. Curated by Nav Haq, the exhibition 'Lenin Was a Mushroom' will look at moving images that offered reflections of the era but also new modes and means for image-making through the technological advancements adopted by artists. Erkan Özgen and Şener Özmen's 'Road to Tate Modern' video on display at the group exhibition. The exhibition will run till August 21st at M HKA - Museum of Contemporary Art Antwerp, Belgium.
