Made to be Seen by Elmas Deniz at Boomrang Lyon, France (10/07/2022)


From July 29th until August 3rd, Videocity, the international public art project, will collaborate with Boomrang, a cultural space based in Lyon, France, on an exhibition titled UTOPIA. This young cultural space presents 12 videos from Videocity's LONELINESS cycle, navigating between Utopia and Dystopia. Deniz's video, Made to be Seen (2017) focuses on how advertising has been a key tool of manipulation for centuries through the use of language and plays with how nature has become a popular element in commercials today.
