Elmas Deniz at the Blue Planet - Sea exhibition in Seoul (11/07/2022)

Curated by Park Seung-yeon and featuring the works of Elmas Deniz, Soyoung Chung, Hwang Moonjung, The Blue Planet - Sea exhibition attempts to understand the importance of the sea by looking at the human-made environment through the perspective of the sea. We know the sea is important because it covers 70% of the earth's surface, but the relationship between the role of the sea and humanity's reality to date is very limited when compared to information on land. The exhibition is a project that looks beyond the land on which people live to examine the true role and position of the sea.

The exhibition includes three works by Elmas Deniz (A Tale of the Earth, 2020; A Conversation at the Isle of Mollusks, 2020; and The Isle of Mollusks, 2020). The exhibition, which is taking place in Art Space Boan 1942, will be on display until July 24.
