Guido Casaretto, at Fondazione Merz, ZAC within the scope of BAM - Biennale Arcipelago Mediterraneo (05/11/2022)

Isolitudine is a project that includes exhibitions by four artists. Casaretto's exhibition in Isolitudine, curated by Agata Polizzi, is inspired by Federico De Roberto's book Vicere, which tells the story of a Sicilian family. Isolitudine brings together six of Casaretto's works, including a new sculpture, to present his artistic practice over the years. The sculptures are arranged as if they were islands conversing with one another, strong and compact entities that allude to the vast geography of the Mediterranean coast and the unique stories that emanate from it. The exhibition section featuring works by Guido Casaretto was organized with the supprt of SAHA and Zilberman. An artist talk was also held on September 24. Casaretto's works can be seen at ZACentrale between 23 September 2022 – 22 January 2023 as part of Biennale Arcipelago Mediterranneo.
